Home visit Will Writing - Lasting Powers of Attorney - Trusts - Probate
Document Storage - Pre Paid Funeral Plans
Hello and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Eva Carman and although originally
from Holland I am now resident in the UK for the past 9 years and I am based in
Nailstone, Nuneaton, Leicestershire.
I am a fully qualified Will Writer and a full member of the Society of Will Writers.
I pride myself in offering a professional yet personal fixed price Will Writing service.
It is a fact that everyone who owns property, has children, has a spouse or partner or is divorced should have a Will yet many of those people will put it off as for many making a Will can for many feel depressing and daunting. My 'no obligation' home visit service gives the opportunity to discuss your wishes and requirements in the comfort of your own home. I also endeavour to explain the workings of a Will in simple terms rather than using legal jargon and I will only suggest the use of a Trust if it is clearly beneficial to your Will.
Prices for all of my services can be found on this website and there are NO hidden costs.
Typical excuses we hear for not making a Will:
''We are too busy" - We come to you at a time to suit you
" It's too complicated" - We will explain everything in an easy to understand way without all the jargon
"It's too expensive" - We offer solutions at affordable prices and can even offer easy payment terms
Never forget that making a Will is in effect 'putting your house in order' and certainly provide peace of mind for both you and your loved ones. Your Will can save family and loved ones time, money and distress after you die. A professionally produced Will is the ONLY way to make certain that your wishes are adhered to.
Appointments can be made daytime or evenings and weekends are also a possibility. Phone to discuss your needs.
Although based in Leicestershire I am having existing clients in Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire.
It's as easy as 1,2,3

why do I need a will?
Our simple checklist will tell you instantly whether you should have a Will.
Protect the ones you love and give yourself peace of mind
Without a Will your spouse will not automatically get everything. Your children can have a right to a part of your Estate.
Marriage revokes a Will. After a divorce you might want to change your Will.
I'M A PROPERTY OWNER
If you own a property there are different ways to protect your property for future generations (children, grandchildren) by including Trusts in your Will.
I HAVE CHILDREN FROM A PREVIOUS MARRIAGE
It's normal for a person to wish to protect their own children (from a former marriage). A
Will can include certain Trusts to make sure this happens and children are not completely left out.
I have a partner
Unmarried couples do not have the same legal rights as those who are married. Without a Will your partner would not necessarily receive anything from your estate.
I don't want the government to decide who inherits
If you die without a Will your estate will be distributed according the Laws of Intestacy. This is likely to cost more and takes a longer time and more important this may not be according your wishes.
Lasting Powers of Attorney
This is a great place to add a tagline.
This is a legal document that allows you to appoint a person who can manage your affairs in case you have lost mental capacity. Unfortunately this can happen at any age, such as through an accident, stroke or a degenerative condition such as Alzheimer.
If you have lost mental capacity and there is no Lasting Power of Attorney in place your family will have to apply to the Court of Protection for a Deputyship to make decisions on your behalf. This is time consuming, expensive and stressful.
There are two different types of Lasting Power of Attorney:
Property & Financial Affairs
This covers decision about your financial affairs and property such as manage your bank accounts, paying your bills, claiming your benefits or pension.
Health & Welfare
This covers decisions about your personal welfare and health such as consent or refuse medical treatment, decisions on life sustaining treatment, decisions on your day to day care.
